Scratch Computer Game Making and Story Telling for Kids: Scratch Computer Game Making and Story Telling for Kids: This class lets the very young and the non-programmer create and share their own computer games and animated stories. The goal is to teach computer languages when they are most easily learned, in earlier childhood. Scratch is a free learning tool from MIT's Media Lab, Lifelong Kindergarten group. Scratch opens a new world of expression and collaboration never before experienced and it's simple as can be: Just move your mouse to drag and drop pieces of a puzzle together. Classes will be held for children aged 5-7. In addition, a one-time, one hour class will be held for parents and children. All the Scratch classes are assured to be Magic.

Scratch Programming: Go beyond consuming technology to produce your own: create, remix, and reinvent programs. This class is for children aged 8 and above who want to learn how to create computer games. Scratch is used to learn programming, technology, story-telling, drawing and game design. The student will also learn how to create animated characters (sprites) and backgrounds for their games. The class will be augmented with WeDo Legos and Pico boards. The results can be astounding.

Python: For students who want to learn and write programs in Python. Python is an easy-to-learn, fun, and versatile language used to write standalone software and Web Applications and Web Services; it also easily integrates with other languages like Java. Python can run as a standalone software environment, and has add-on game libraries for the game programmers. Because Python syntax is short and clear, writing programs is faster and easier in Python than in other languages. Students will learn how to design, code, and test software. The class will also emphasize the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
Java Programming through Game Making: This class introduces object oriented programming and java fundamentals, and later covers game design and creation,

.

Classes: create a fun, collaborative environment where kids and young adults learn and share their personal successes and discoveries. Classes are small, grouped according to age, level of expertise and compatibility. Although classes are planned well in advance, each class is customized according to the technical expertise, creative abilities and students' interests. Significant emphasis is placed on expanding each student’s unique talents.

Private Tutoring: is available for kids, young adults and adults of all levels and computer needs. I teach computer programming and game design with state of the art graphic and programming environments. In addition, I teach Flash and Microsoft Office applications.
